The subject of this thesis is the search for Odderon induced contributions to exclusive -production in photoproduction events with proton dissociation at the HERA accelerator facility. The search for the Odderon is based on data taken with the detector H1 during the years 1999 and 2000, with special emphasis on the VLQ-calorimeters. An essential part of this thesis is the construction, the commissioning, the realization of an event reconstruction algorithm and the implementation of the VLQ-calorimeter into the H1 experiment. The model of the stochastic vacuum (MSV) predicts the expected cross section of odderon induced exclusive -production with proton dissociation in photo production events. The cross section predicted by the MSV and extrapolated to HERA energies is, I I nb. The aim of this thesis is the test of the MSV prediction. The measured cross section of the reaction , under the assumption that all measured events originate from Odderon exchange, amouts to (stat) (sys) nb. The measured cross section excludes the MSV predictions. Considering the expected backgrounds, an upper limit on the contributions from Odderon exchange to the cross section can be given. The upper limit on the odderon contribution in this reaction is I 95% CL nb.
